Teddy Atlas talking **** on Cotto

sO I'm making excuses for him even though I like Cotto more than Clottey?:huh Cotto wasn't very effective late on and was just in there to survive. FACT.

 

Survival yes with the aide of good boxing and countering, cotto made the adjustment necessary to win the fight a good majority of "elite" fighters might have opted to quit after the gash cotto trucked on I don't see how this can be criticized.

 

Really dont like Atlas, hate hearing him talk about boxing.

 

Cotto didn't have a single opportunity to "finish off" Clottey.

If anybody looked ready to be finished off it was Cotto.:yep

I hate Teddy but credit where credit is due - he did pick Pacman in the De La Hoya fight when most everyone else was picking Oscar. So the curse didn't come through in that case.

 

Well atleast Atlas wasnt training Cotto, then he might get KTFO by a 45 year old overweight ex champ.

Atlas does have a point in the fact that Clottey could have ran away with that fight, but he should give more credit to Cotto for fighting through that cut. Yeah it is the definition of a fighter, which makes Cotto a TRUE fighter. I just hope to see the Cotto of old cause I did see striking resemblance to the Margo fight at certain points, other than Clottey's lack of numbers.

 

Cotto by KO, around the 6th or 7th. Still will not get the credit he deserves.
