Theres a good Tyson interview about this incident.... Im looking for it but cant find it. Ill post it if I come across it. Tyson speaks about Atlas.
Damnit I cant find it..... pissing me off lol. Anyways Tyson says basically that Teddy wants people to think hes some tough guy, but that if he (Tyson) pulls a gun on someone, the bullets aint going in the air. Something like that.... was a badass quote from Tyson. Atlas aint no damn G.
Teddy Atlas the only son of a doctor who thought he was a street tough. I believe one fighter left him and he went after him with a gun, ****ed around with Shannon Briggs as well.
I hated the Ringside Espn did of Mike Tyson simply because Teddy Atlas is such an idiot. Why they decided to have him on their I will never know. I knew Larry Holmes wouldn't give no credit to Tyson, but hey, that's Larry Holmes. Atlas, every time he talked, could only say that Tyson wasn't that good, he only learned through repetition, and that he was just a bully and anyone who stood up to him would make him crumble. Lets ignore the fact that plenty of fighters weren't intimidated by Tyson and still got their ass kicked but if he was such a simple push over why did he even need a gun. I think that is one of the most ignorant things people say about Tyson. "All you have to do is stand up to him and not be intimidated and he will fold." Not even close.
