I dunno about any other, but it's quite possible that some would have, and they would've been wrong to do so. Says more about the insidious softening of this sport than anything.
would like to post longer in response.....BUT....since Teddy has officially picked Wilder.....I am trying to reach my bookie to bet the farm on Fury.
Yep! People seem to have short memories. The last fight was the most one sided beat down we've seen in a while. This will most likely be the same.
Well I don't buy some of the excuses from wilder (suit being heavy, gloves being loaded) but if we're being honest wilder looked off the entire night, possibly he was having issues outside of the ring or had a bad training camp with injuries that he did not want to bring up.
Getting an extra mortgage on the house and putting it on Fury. Thank you Teddy for always being wrong!
It's possible, but I think the more likely reason he looked off was Fury put it on him, he's never been pressured like that before and he couldn't handle it.
I don't mind Teddy sometimes but with certain fighters it is obvious that he doesn't like them. He picked Wilder last time and he always seems to speak in a back handed way about Fury. His picks have been better lately but I think he is wrong here.
The only problem with this is, Wilder doesn't have the mental fortitude that Foreman had. In fact, Wilder has no mental fortitude at all.
