2 power punchers.... prime for prime... even post prime for post prime, it would be fun... But I'd go with Mayorga...

The Mayorga that beat Forrest would have utterly destroyed Reid inside 5. Mayorga was nothing special, but Teddy Reid was a total club fighter! A scum bag of a human being also.

Mayorga was too big for Tackie and would have battered him around all night. Tackie was strong as hell for a jnr welter, and had a powerful right hand, but he was painfully slow and against Mayorga at 147 he wouldnt be the stronger opponent.

A better matchup is today's Ricardo Torres vs a prime Tackie.

Mayorga wins this. Teddy Reid was one spiteful nasty piece of work but Mayorga beard was way to solid at 47 even for a known banger like Reid. Mayorga inside of 5 in a shootout.

There was a fighter he beat into a coma, who later died, and Reid supposedly bragged about it to people in the gym.

Teddy Reid was always fun to watch. His fight with Elio Ortiz was one of the best fights i've ever seen.

Teddy Reid was a good fighter. I hate fighters that get in the ring and hide for 8 or 9 rounds like Floyd Mayweather. Yea...it's a good strategy but a boring fight. (example: Floyd & Oscar De La Hoya fight) You KNOW when Teddy fights HE COMES TO FIGHT! One of the strongest fighters I've seen. In his prime...he didn't duck anyone...but everybody was ducking HIM. The word got out that Teddy has the potential to TAKE YOU OUT...then BIG NAME fighters wouldn't take that chance.

And to the person that said that Teddy was bragging when that dude died...he was crushed....HE CRIED! There are articles about what he said...

Yea dude...that Elio Ortiz fight was CRAZY!

There are REAL fighters........and then the fighters that pick and choose. EVERYBODY SAYS that they will fight anybody...but there are only a few boxers that will. If you want to be successful as far as "green paper" it IS smart to duck fighters...but a thorough fighter...FIGHTS ANYONE!! (BERNARD HOPKINS IS ONE...SORRY BUT ROY JONES JR. DUCKS FIGHTERS LIKE THE AIDS VIRUS)

TEDDY MIGHT NOT BE QUICK BUT A FIGHTER........THAT HE IS!
