Yes, last night on FnF's, the irrevocable Teddy Atlas picked Carl Froch to be the winner of tonight's fight and based it on 1 of the factors that favored froch was the fact that he's the natural 168 lb'er and kessler, a long ****ing time ago when vikings roamed the plains of denmark a 19 yr old kessler turned pro as a 154 lb'er. So,, based on that logic, the size and overall strength factor goes to the englishman. I swear, i'm not making this up folks. The stupid New Yorker actually said that.
Wow, i actually like Atlas (well sometimes), but that's some messed up stupidity. He does know these guys already fought eachother once and went tooth and nail for 12 rounds without either guy going down, right?
i think atlas is just senile these days. lets see 2 years at 160 or below 13 years at 168 atlas logic - not a natural super middleweight :rofl
not much. both are 6'1" and only an inch different in reach 74 for Kessler and 75 for Froch. They are evenly matched and what makes the difference here from the first fight in 2010 is Froch being a little fresher and not as long into his career. This is Kessler's last great fight scenario like Hearns against Virgil Hill in 1991. Kessler will come out and try and have the fight of his career, and Froch has motivated him.
