Can't find even one area BJS has an advantage?
Here are a few obvious ones.
BJS has faster feet and longer stride. This allows him to cover distance more quickly. Some call it food speed.
BJS has greater reach. More range on his punches.
BJS likely has a better jab considering he has a great jab and greater reach than Canelo's jab.

So there we are. It's not all bad for him.

 

Boxing IQ.

 

He boxes better from long distance becsuse he has longer reach and faster feet.

But whether he can land effective punches from there against Canelo, and keep it a distance fight, is the big question, and is perhaps very unlikely.
We shall see.

What makes you think that BJS has a greater reach than Canelo? Both are listed at 71''.

Anyway. The foot speed thing is an argument which i read a lot and it's just not true. Canelo has the better foot speed. BJS has the better footwork because he moves in a more fluid way and can create angles while Canelo is a bit more flat footed walking forward but if it comes to pure foot speed Canelo has the upper hand.

I don't think BJS footwork will be a factor though. He still has to land punches. It's not a running or dancing competition.

 

There is no doubt that Saunders is a scumbag.

However, Canelo is massive scumbag who deceives everyone with his boring outward non controversial personality. He's frauding so many people with his clen taking/judge buying/ card stacking/ maxth fixing scumbag. He should have 4 losses on his resume. It was the last straw when I watched that obvious sparring session between Canelo Kovalev. What kind of disgusting human being fixes a fight of that scale in front thousands/millions of people? Absolute fraud then goes on about how he's pound for pound no1.. Get the f out of here

 

Saunders is an arse but thank god he is as the build up to this fight got real entertaining this week because of him
