Looks like a future hall of famer already. Quick hands, fluid combinations.

I was going to post 15 year old tyson, but we all have seen the clip and it would take the shine off usyk. Who does look very fluid

yeah Tyson at 15 was an out and out physical anomaly.

Usyk had quick hands as a teen but still looked human. Looks like a talented kid who works really hard. Mike looked like he was sent directly by Greek Gods to conqueror the world.

I know many don't believe this but I do actually have the upmost respect for usyk. I just think the era is weaker than others and find Goat talk a little premature

But yes, he was obviously a talented guy (not tyson talented) that worked hard to be the best

    Nice little clip

As I've said before, the first time I saw Usyk fight was against the Chinese representative in the Beijing Olympics and it was quite the introduction because he was having fun in there throwing every punch in the book, showboating, making his opponent miss and pay, and just had an aura about him and the charisma of a star. He has numerous different styles but he still looked different in that fight to how I've ever seen him and the natural talent and athleticism were plain to see.

He's immensely naturally talented. The fact that he didn't even walk into a boxing gym until he was 15 y/o and is one of the most skilled, technical, athletic, fluid, coordinated and agile big men (North of 160) we've ever seen and took to the sport so quickly and achieved everything he has amateur and pro after a late start speaks volumes about that and I'm specifically alluding to the CW prime version albeit that still applies to the slower, heavier, older, less agile HW version, especially the younger HW version.

FTR, he'd only been boxing 2 years when that footage was filmed

Then factor in his iron chin, underrated power and intangibles like his superb engine, his self-belief, steely resolve and fearlessness (he's one of the mentally strongest fighters I've ever seen), adaptability, ring IQ etc.
