Did anyone ever see this bout?Gonzales finished his career at 40-4-1.He was a rough fighter who could fight on the inside. He lasted into the 10th round vs Norris. Was the fight competive at all or pretty onesided?

onesided for all i remember. gonzales was tough but had ordinary boxing talent. a rather basic pressure fighter who was more of a welterweight than a jr.middle. i think robert wangila died after his fight with him.

anyway, he wasnt even close to norris league.

See I always thought Gonzales should have been fighting 2 divisons down.Check his record he beat alot of very good boxers. The word was he was very undisciplined when it came to training and making the weight for his matches.
