Some say that his voice can only be heard by cats, and that he has two sets of knees... all we know is, he's called IGOR VOVCHANCHYN!

He is an old school Vale Tudo guy, fought in some of the earliest no holds barred fights in Europe.

He basically just beat the hell out of people with amazing power, both on the ground and standing.

The best example of his ground and pound was his fight in Pride against Inoue; who he almost put in a coma.

The Inoue fight is probably the most brutal in the history of MMA.

brutal fighter with great power. was sad he had to retire, think he was only in his early 30's.

  9. One of the absolute best MMA fighter and definitely a P4P top 5. He was a machine with top level kickboxing and a good ground game. Injuries and his style of fighting shortened his career, his losses were basically at the back end of his career when he should have retired.

He didnt really retire early. Vonchancyn was in Vale Tudo no holds barred fights for a LONG time. His record isnt a true reflection of all the fights he fought licensed or unlicensed.

Definitly one of the most brutal iv ever seen. Inoue was in hospital for 3 months after that fight with a swollen brain.
