There is only so much your average fighter can do, and then you have your eye-catchers, the guys with dazzling speed, the ones with the knack for punching, and then you have a fighter like Napoles who blends all that could be asked for yet delivers it with almost cinematic, implausible majesty. There is that clam-under-fire that engages the experienced follower of boxing, but Napoles still brings that enchanted smile to Ted Spoon. There is that element of specialized creativity of which few have ever possessed. The man built his combinations up with seamless precision. Saying Napoles was a great fighter completely misses the point with him. He is pure eye candy. A looped fight of his in a gallery should be considered a masterpiece.
