I usually pick one fighter a month to study ....his resume looks pretty good....how good was he ? Which fights of his do you recommend? Does he have any fans in here ? ....thanks in advance
I'm ashamed to admit that Lindol is a fighter that I have constantly overlooked and forgotten over the years, especially as a Pinoy myself. But I can tell you that he was definitely a very popular fighter in the Philippines, a boxing idol before Pac came along. He's a fighter that I'm starting to watch more and also really appreciate. He's a helluva offensive fighter from some of his fights I've seen, especially from his performance against Kennedy McKinney. I'm still trying to learn more about him myself and would love to hear more input on him. More fight suggestions is appreciated! This content is protected
Some of the few fights I've seen so far. He is a crowd pleaser with his style. Set up his offense on Raul Perez nicely with blistering combinations. Also had some nice wars with Alejandro Gonzalez that are worth a look. And his shocking first round KO of Khaokor Galaxy with the delayed reaction is also something rare to see. And of course his destruction of McKinney was a thing of beauty as well. From what I’ve heard Hamed didn’t want anything to do with Espinosa. Didn’t Luisito Espinoza and Louis “Sharpshooter” Espinoza overlap? They should have settled it in the ring, loser changes his name to Joe Smith.
I am a fan. Very amusing fighter a shame we never saw a rematch with Galaxy. He really came into his own at Feather though where sadly he never faced the Prince. His first loss to Gonzalez was at the mercy of him not being able to make weight and allegedly his style was a product of his inability to truly feel 100% on fight night because of his staggering weight issues. In Gonzalez 1-2 both times he went for the kill because he knew he would fade and we saw what a coin flip he could be at times. I think you would come out of a month of watching "Earthquake" a happier boxing fan.
