The three future HOF fighters are in their 30's, and soon to be retired. I've been spending some time rewatching footage of these great fighter along with catching up on some knowledge of HOF trainer Ignacio Beristáin...a true Teacher of the Art.

Tell me about your thoughts on each and include what makes them so special to boxing and to the fans.

If you troll, you get cancer.

I'm sure we could all write many many words about how great all of these figures are. They define the greatness of modern boxing.

If you're interested in Nacho's method, I translated an extensive interview where he talks about the places he traveled and how they incorporated themselves into the style and techniques he teaches:

Both Pac and May are warriors who has worked hard and fought hard to get where they are. Both has slowed down, but they were incredible in their primes

One Cries over judge decision and the other respect the D and still give credit to his opponent.

I'll remember Marquez for his warrioir mentality - For being one of the most bueautuful combination puncher in the game. Hie 1st 2 fights with Manny and his fight with Diaz i'll never forget.
His achievement in his performance in the 3rd fight against Manny as an old blown up fighter is one of the greatest performances of the last 20 years given the circumstances.
Even the one fight he lost clearly to floyd. He shownd tremendous courage. Being the aggressor in the final rounds despite the shots he took.

Manny - A true Warrior of the sport. He's not satisfied unles he's in a toe to toe war with his opponent. Easily the greatest resume of any modern fighter. I will never forget Moraes vs Manny 1, and the courage he's shown. He has put himself in fights where he's the underdog or its a 50/50 pick on numerous occasions.
The transformation to the more technical fighter who detroyed through a list of ccomplished welterweights is incredible. Highlight fights for me, are Morales 1, Marquez 2, Lebwada, Hatton, Cotto, Margarito where he showed how great he really is.

Floyd - Easilly the greatest technical fighter of our generation. He makes it look too easy that we assume he's in easy fights. I'm much bigger fan of his early work. Particuarly is Corales fight. I'll remember floyd as neing technically one of the best we're ever likely to see.

Mayweather - the young prospect destined for great things and he certainly lived up to the hype. At superfewtherweight he had blistering speed and very good power as well, which some seem to forget these days. You could make a strong argument for him being the best ever at SFW. His immaculate performances against Genaro Hernandez and undefeated p4p rated Corales where really his coming out parties. As he has rose through the weights we have seen a more cautious side to Floyd. Pretty boy became money may and his more defensive and pot shooting approach he has adapted, while showing of his incredible defensive abilities and pinpoint accuracy, has somewhat hurt his legacy to the casual fans, however the Cotto fight showed he could trade with one of the biggest punchers in boxing. He has a great resume but we all know it could have been that little bit better. Castillo was the only person that came close to beating him (and arguably did) but he has virtually been untouchable and looking through history it's hard to find the kind of dominating scorecards he has given us against top class opposition apart from the true greats of the sport. The best technical fighter of the
generation and one of the greatest defensive boxers of all time.

Marquez - a true Mexican warrior, but not your typical one. His great technical abilities and killer accuracy has seen him rise up through the weight classes with ease. Dedicated to the sport even after 4 questionable loses to Norwood, John and 2 against Pac have hardly effected his resume which has pretty goof depth from featherweight to lightweight, Barrera, Katsidis, Diaz x2 being my favourite wins of his. He has unbelievable dedication to the sport and Marquez-PAC I and the Katsidis fight show how great his recovery rate is. Many also forget that he is still at the top of his game at 38 years old showing age is not an issue having beaten many young hungry boxers and at times completely dominating them. Out of the 'Fab 4' (Barrera, Morales, Marquez and Pacquiao) he is in my mind the H2H king despite not facing Morales. One of the best fingers of the generation and despite his Pacquiao trilogy record being 0-2-1 he is often seen by the boxing fans to have won at least 2 of the fights.

Pacquiao - much like floyd his legion of fans (*******s) often lead him to receive a lot of hate. However looking past these idiotic fans we are reminded of an incredible boxer with speed almost unmatchable and incredibly heavy hands, which he has carried through 8 weight divisions! His boxing skills where poor in his early career but his work with Freddie Roach has seen them improve beyond belief. Although still nowhere near the best in the world, compared
to what they where its a pretty great feat, but can still be made to look foolish by a good boxer (JMM x 3 Many argue he has very much cherry picked his opponents from 135 and above which too an extent he has. David Diaz was a disgrace of a lightweight champion, and his catchweight fights with Cotto and Margarito are often criticised. Personally the margarito fight was a disgrace, however Cotto dropping 2 pounds was not an issue. His incredible resume is also unmatchable of this generation however his fights against JMM have seen him arguably have 3 unofficial loses as well as a prime Morales being just to much for him. Often written off in pre-fight hype there is no doubt he is the 2nd best fighter of the generation constantly proving the founders wrong. He is behind Mayweather in my mind, however if they ever get it on and PAC wins, there would be no doubt that he was the best fighter of the generation.
