Tell me more about 50's heavyweights

    Eh...maybe some advanced reply?

    50's were smaller, true. But were they not skilled? Tough? Fast? Entertaining? As i research that era I'm finding more interesting fighters like Tommy Jackson. He was 6'4'' if you want to know the size.

    -They would be about the same. Ruddock would establish himself as a contender with a top 10 win or two, but it would be a very brief run before someone like Moore or Satterfield got to him. Bob Baker is a fair analogy.

    -Mercer could very well be another Ceaser Brion. A failure as a Championship prospect but a respectable tough trial horse/fringe fighter.
