Pac almost certainly won't be as quick at 140, and his stamina may well suffer too. So until he actually fights at the weight, stop asking questions that show you to be the nuthugger you are. Thank you :good

Hatton fight's at quite a pace. Also Pac seem's to be slowing down himself as he realises as he moves up in weight he can't just steamroll over everyone.

Pac may indeed be quicker and fitter than everyone at 140 but the real question is can he handle the naturally bigger and stronger men at 140. Infact the only question is can he handle the mauling and pressure of the naturally bigger and stronger Hatton?

Though some of you may laugh and deride me for this, I see Yuriorkis Gamboa moving up to 140 pounds and reigning there after a few years at 130. He's a very big 130 pounder (frame-wise, not so much height), and has the power to make it at 140 without too much difficulty. As long as he can shape up his defense, he'll be a force to be reckoned with for years to come.

Just maintain that weight and it will be like chomping pedigrees at 140 by a pitbull!

before hatton can actually hold pac with his short arms and freakish fingers he will be eating pac chomps cereals for breakfast! I mean, why would roach be so confident in pressing hatton vs pac? It's because roach believes pac can handle hatton! PLUS:
Hatton is an inbrawler: look what happened to david who has a similar style like hatton though slower..
I think hatton will be like david after the end of the fight: sorry to break it down for ya..:hey

Diaz is far to slow and pondering. Hatton is much faster and more importantly cut's the ring of quicker than Diaz. Diaz just plodded after Manny. Hatton will not.

Also we do not know how Manny will handle being hit and wrestled by the naturally bigger man. We did not get an idication of this during the Diaz fight because Diaz hardly ever hit Manny. Hatton will.

Im not saying Hatton will win. His punch resistance has deminished so Pac stands a good chance of winning. It just will not be as easy as you appear to think.

Yeah, I think Pac will be on the decline by the time Gamboa hits his peak.

I think anybody that questions Hatton's ability at lightwelterweight and anybody writing him off is very much mistaken. he got wobbled by lazcano whom he otherwise out gunned for 12 rounds so to say he struggled is pure fantasy. He is very fast and frekishly strong. David diaz is no ricky hatton. Pac v the hitman would be a great fight, but one i see hatton controlling from the outset

There is a big gulf in class between David Diaz and Ricky Hatton. He was selected for a reason. Anyone who cannot see that must be bloody daft.

    Juan Diaz would have been........

    1. A much sterner examination
    2. A more Hatton-like opponent

Roach probably wants a payday - who is the biggest payday in boxing again (after DLH)?

    You guessed it.

    Ricky Hatton.

Hey if roach thinks pac will win: who can argue roach? He knows pac's undergarments more than pac d best does!
Yes hatton will be more difficult than david, ut imo pac can still win. Will he let hatton hold him and tie him up! Pac now follows gameplan efficiently. That lateral movement he showed against david will be too much hell even pbf did not danced too much against hatton but still won! Pac also now has Pbf handguard! Swing all he want and he will only be hitting pac's gloves anyways...
    GO PAC GO!!! WOOOOOO!!!:happy:happy:happy:happy

That's my point! David is just a guinea pig to set up to a much diffcult prototype but with the same style..that is hatton!
So what he showed to david is enough for me to believe he can outbox hatton!
I confidently belive pac has polished his skills to e a good boxer and ring general! Even divac believs pac has improved to e a good technical boxer!
That is bad news to anyone at 140! :(

Why do you keep making the Roach point? Obviously he does think his man can win. I think Manny can win aswell but the important word there is 'think'. It's not set in stone.

And please don't compare Pac and Floyd interms od defence. Pac maybe harder to hit nowadays but he still only has an above average defence at best.

Also, Hatton's in-work and rough tactics on Floyd didn't work because Floyd is deceptivally strong and Hatton admitted he couldn't out muscle him. Im not sure obviously, but i do think Hatton will be stronger than Pac and be able to out muscle him and get his short hooks in.
