Tell me what W Klitschko can do to win? Fans and non fans opinions

Did you see his fights with Povetkin and Ibraginov? LOL.

 

Firstly there will always be haters.

There are 2 legitimate reasons imo that people don't like Wlad.

1 - He fights within himself.
2 - His opposition is generally poor.

Vs Leapai for example, Wlad was landing at will but he didn't hurt Leapai, who was basically a punching bag, until he got caught himself and that seemed to put some spite into his shots in return. I think he could have gotten him out of there earlier but he was carrying him somewhat. Also vs Povetkin, he held so much when he could have boxed more and not rely on his size alone, when he is so skilled its a pity he doesn't seem to back his own skills sometimes in his performances.

As regards his opposition, this to a large degree isn't his fault as some are mandatories and he did fight Povetkin recently who was #1 challenger, and the hw division is poor. But imagine the abuse other top P4P'ers would get if they fought guys of the caliber of Mormeck, Pianeta, Leapai, Wach, etc. they would be lambasted. Wlad can and should fight the likes of Pulev, the new WBC champ, Wilder, Fury, etc. in the next 2 years and if he does this instead of fighting nobodies then he will win some more respect.

 

Hear hear I agree with everything you said. Boxing isn't just about winning it is the manner of winning OR losing that counts.

 

Im sure he could get the Boss to take a 6 rd stay busy fight.

Ross would have no trouble signing for 100K to allow Wlad his revenge.

The (RIP)Sanders family would be a bit disagreeable to exhumation, but Im sure a few hundred K could help in making up their minds.

 

Wlad was not caught by Leapai. Leapai's threw a punch and his food ended up behind Wladimir's, which caused the stumble. Here's the video:

I agree here, he would probably KO the likes of Wilder and Fury, but at least they bring size, power, youth etc that might, on paper, trouble Wlad. Realistically nobody since Haye (had power and speed) looked to have something to trouble Wlad with, even Povetkin nobody really saw giving Wlad problems.

 

Ok but caught or not it was only after that that Wlad put some venom into his shots. He was landing at will on Leapai who was blocking punches with his face but most weren't full power shots.

 

He's done enough to acheive all time greatness unlike his brother, he's just so boring given his actual skills. As a fan of the sport I'd like to see him open up more.

 

Marciano wasn't black, neither were Quarry, Coetzee, Morrison, Dempsey..... and the list goes on and on. Keep your racial paranoia to yourself Grand wizard.

I do. The Klitschko haters feel the same way about Kovalev (remember JAB5239's thread where he was trying to prove Kovalev is inferior to Michael Moorer as a light heavyweight?).

They only hate GGG about half as much, because he's only half-white, but they don't like him either.
