No he fights the Clottey's, Tony's, and SSM's (in their current state) of the world as opposed to fighting the other champions in his division Berto, the best fighter of our generation PBF, another popular rival at the next weight class Martinez, the challenge of Paul Williams at 147, perhaps JMM at 140, even Bradley/Khan winner at 140...nah he's cool on all that he'll fight Josh Clottey, Tony coming off the worst ass beating of his career-a year suspension-and a tune up win over a tomato can, and SSM coming off one of the worst ass beatings of his career-a layoff-and a draw against Sergio Motha****ing Mora. Give me a ****ing break dude, I'm not trying to hate on the man but at least call a spade a spade, he's not fighting the best, has no intention of fighting the best, and is simply trying to get paid...fine I accept that, but at least call it how it is.

I absolutely disagree, I think PBF has a shot at beating Martinez, but even then I'd consider Martinez the favorite. Martinez beats Pac definitely, and probably beat PBF but that isn't as clear cut.

:patsch Spare me the "It has nothing to do with Floyd...", I was obviously showing you have a different set of rules for Floyd, and for others.

And really...WTF are you even bitching about? Last I looked, Pac is fighting Mosley. You are acting like Pac vs., JM at 147 is set in stone. Relax....

He is trying to fight the best, but Mayweather won't fight him.. Pacquiao is a welterweight and is staying at welterweight.. Now look at the top 10 and tell me who's ranked higher.. Pacquiao is fighting Mosley because..

    01. Mosley brings money to the table
    02. Mosley is ranked in the top 5 at welterweight
    03. People say he can't beat a slick or good african-american boxer, so he's fighting one, since Mayweather won't..

You could say he can fight Berto, but Berto does not bring anything to the table and simply because he would get crushed.. Why aren't you criticizing any of Mayweather's opposition? Marquez moving up two weight divisions where he clearly doesn't belong to fight Mayweather.. There are talks of Mayweather fighting Spadafora or some other tomato can tune up.. Manny is too small to fight Martinez and Martinez can't even make 154lbs anymore.. Do you think Mayweather has any intention of fighting the best? No. When the likes of Cotto, Margarito, and company were ruling the welterweight division a couple years back, did Mayweather have any intentions on fighting them? No. Instead if fought a smaller Hatton and decided to take vacations.. There is nobody else really Pac could be fighting right now.. Who else is left at 147? Berto, Brook, Zaveck, Senchenko? Now you can see why he's fighting Mosley since Mayweather won't and don't bring up the whole "Manny needs to take the tests", because he has said he would in several videos.. Don't mention either about how it's ok for Mayweather to fight a tune-up because if he hadn't taken his 3rd vacation in three years, he wouldn't have to fight a tune-up..

Now with Marquez, he's going to get his third fight with Pacquiao down the road and no matter if it's at 140 or 147, he will get crushed in the trilogy fight.. Marquez needs to stay busy with other fights such as Judah or Guerrero and stop obsessing over a third fight with Pac..

Uhh, no I don't have a different "set of rules", where has anyone said PBF's natural weight is 140, and used this as a reason not to fight someone? It's a huge difference, PBF accepts that he's a WW, he doesn't use it when it's convienient. He's a WW, and he's gone up to 154, he doesn't say I can't make that weight because I'm a 140 fighter, but when issued a challenge from fighters at 140 say he'd have to starve himself to make 140. It's not the same scenario, and again this has nothing to do with PBF. I'm "acting like PAC vs JMM at 147 would be set in stone", because that's what Arum and Roach said, definitively.

So you wouldn't think that fighting PWilliams at 147, Berto at 147, Khan/Bradley winner at 140, Martinez at 154, PBF at 147, or JMM at 140 would be better fights than his last three? All these guys have went out of their way (other than Khan) to call out Manny, but he has refused to fight Clottey, Tony, and now SSM. Lastly SSM isn't a "slick" fighter, he's not a prime fighter, and to somehow say this alleviates him of that perception is silly.

No fight with Martinez and no fight with Marquez unless it's 147. That says it all and you can thank Roach for that.

Pacquiao might fight Martinez at 154, he never said no to that fight yet officially. Making Pacquiao fight a light heavy weight at fight night is something that makes Pac that good, have you ever heard of a former flyweight being forced to fight someone who weighs 170 lbs on fight night? JMM and Martinnez are different, JMM weighs 146 compares to Sergio's 170. even if JMM comes 2 weight classes up, he still weighs at welterweight limit the same as Pacquiao, while sergio martinez at 154 lbs will come to the ring as a light heavy weight at max! if you can't see the difference, i don't know what to say. It's either you want to see Pacquiao finally lose to ease your pain, or continue to live on hatred.

He's getting $22.5 million gauranteed to fight Mosley, a sure HoFer, the only "name" at 147 missing on his resume. What fighter in their right mind would've turned that down? He got $25 million for the Margo fight, though he was a legitimate opponent, those that don't rate him are idiots. As was Clottey. Tell me any other fighter that would be seen as cherry picking a guy like Clottey? Go on

Stop hating and look at it as you would any other fighter. He's allowed these money fights for all the great fights he's given us, through 11 ****ing divisions, over 15 years! And especially as Mayweather is the only real fight he has left, who has been on vacation since the Mosley fight if you haven't noticed.

None of those other guys would mean anything significant, other than Paul Williams and Martinez, who've been fighting at middleweight the last couple of years. The 140lbers have been busy sorting themselves out and the only money fight there, khan, doesn't want to fight him. And Berto has no more claim to a Pac fight right now than Jan Zaveck, who also has a belt. Being a HBO pup and his color are the only reasons he is being talked up, beating hype job Ortiz won't prove anything either. Marquez well, they priced themselves out.

In any case, we could possibly see Berto or Marquez next. Wonder what reasons to hate on those fights will come up

Moron. Avoiding Marquez at 140? That's the fight most Pac fans want to see. Leave it to a Pac hater to consider Pac not fighting Martinez "avoiding." Just tells you how far Pacquiao has come. Dumbass, I know it's not only blind haters like you who want the Martinez fights. Maybe you haven't read the whole thread. There are some Pac fans here that want to see him fight Martinez.

"You dumb****s haven't read anything I said your useless." Go back to your ESL class. And it's probably better for people not to read anything you said. You're a ****ing moron.

If Pac took him on at 160, he could become the recognized, lineal MW Champion of the world.

If he did that ****, well got damn man.:yep
