It's called too much size. He has been fighting big guys from quite sometime now.

See my previous post above. Pac abandoned 154 belt when they realized he could get hurt after marg fight. This is before Martinez-Williams fight.

Because martinez outweighs Pac by 20 freakin pounds! Pac weighs maybe around 146 at the weighin, and uhh...around 146 on fight night! If pac fights a true WW he's about 10 pounds smaller on fight night than them! Of course his speed, skill, and durability makes up for his opponents advantage.
Pac's last fight he was around 150 on fight night...Martinez's last fight he was 170 on fight night!
I know people say "Well Margarito was 170" Yeah, and that was a limited fighter who isn't all that skilled. And honestly even though Pac destroyed him, Pac should have never fought anybody that big in the first place.
Martinez is like a middleweight version of Floyd mayweather with more activity, more hunger, and more power! I think everybody would agree Mayweather would be a tough fight for Pac (i'd say 50/50), but fighting a middleweight version of Mayweather who's better in a lot of ways (not as good of a counter puncher though) is asking to much of Pac. I'd give Pac like a 20% chance of pulling it out, but I really doubt he could beat Martinez.

First of all, Pac and Marquez met twice already at the lower weights and these were the weights they were fighting most of their entire career. Pac moves up to fight the bigger guys whereas JMM stayed at lower weights. What do you feel about JMM going against Martinez? JMM is actually a little taller than Pac.

Why did Pac fought Margarito at Superwelter when he isn't really planning on staying there? The answer is, "JUST FOR THE RECORD". Hey, who knows, he might go for it. And again for the record, "A former Flyweight champ against a Middleweight champ for the superwelterweight title belt."

Pac-man would school Martinez.... I've said it before people thought Dela Hoya, Hatton, Cotto, Margarito were too big for him, and no they weren't shot or past their prime (maybe just maybe Dela Hoya was slightly weight drained); it's just Pac-man being in a different league, a league which Martinez is not in!

The point is Pac has done things no one since Duran has done, but Duran really gained the weight (albeit it was a little fat). Pac is too small to be fighting these guys, but when he is on point his attributes are letting him win pretty flawless victories. When the guy is ten to twenty pounds heavier than you ON FIGHT NIGHT, there are often commission rules.

Anybody see Gatti-Gamache? GAmache had more technical skill than Gatti, but that twenty pounds Gatti gained SHOWED us how much weight and power matter when you are the bigger guy. Pac doesn't need to be figthing guys that are twenty pounds + heavier on fightnight, we don't expect that of anyone else, and Oscar, Cotto, Clottey, Margarito and Shane really were the best welters out there for years.

He has done enough. I don't want to see what happened to GAmache happen to Pac, because when he wins one fight at a weight class too big for him, we say, FIGHT THE MIDDLEWEIGHT CHAMPION NEXT!!!!! Eventually its just TOO MUCH.

Pacquiao was hurt against a Slow Margarito @151, might get a beating vs Martinez.

Pacquiao has fought bigger guys, but then all were too slow.

have no problem with manny fighting serg

thing is, is serg ready to do what tony did. while tony and serg are around that 160+ mark, will serg go to 150 like tony did. Tell serg to go to 150 just as tony did and he can rehydrate to whatever he wants but he needs to go to 150 just like tony did

got a question for u doc, why is red head ducking jr

ps, i know manny whooped all the mexicans, so u can stop trying to find someone to bring him down, the one who could bring manny down is lil floyd but he isn't no where to be found

stop trying to tell manny to fight a guy who's fought in middle weight, while serg and tony may be the same size, at least tony's never fought middle weight

again, why is red head ducking jr

    stfu doc

Floyd is bigger than Pac, he should be the one facing Martinez but he is a coward.
