:deal He made me laugh when he was getting backed up. Wasn't so willing to show that chin of his. I had Collins right there was one round where i thought ''he's looking for a out here...''. To his credit he cracked on with the job and nearly pulled it off like his dad did but his dad was the real deal and got the job done.

 

Nearly put a big bet on Martinez, and although it would have come in, I'm not sure it would have been worth the stress.

 

Was so worried Martinez was going to get stopped never shouted for a foreign fighter like that before to get up and just hold on. What a hero.

From the moment people started talking about the possiblity of this fight taking place right through the first eleven rounds i was supporting Martinez but as soon as Chavez landed that right hand and Sergio hurt i was screaming at him to "keep punching" just how great would it have been if he repeated his dads feat of the meldrick taylor stoppage ?

I had guzzled one too many ciders, & when Chavez jnr put that smug old git Sergio on his arse I was shouting "get ****in intae him!!!" & throwing air punches

Still went to bed a happy man though, superb night of boxing. Not so happy now though as I nurse a hangover...:|
