Patrick Teixeira from Brazil with white trunks..... [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p0LYv7SBGIE&feature=g-all-u&context=G256e27cFAAAAAAAAAAA[/ame] :bbb:bbb
Very promising, great to see that Brazil have 2 guys making a name for themselves at 154. His recent win was very impressive though he needs to score a decent win outside of Brazil (I think he's struggled everytime time he's left his homeland)
Seems to leave himself wide open while attacking to me. I'm no expert though. TBH - he doesn't look all that, to say the least.
He's beating a bum who rarely if ever throws punches back in straight lines. I dont want to talk down young fighters, but I wasn't left with a great impression of him, I thought he looked defensively liable and not very explosive, he also didn't show any poise nor any feints from the little I saw.
he destroyed samir barbosa, i guy who took the distance against daniel geale, khoren gevor and another names. So, i think Patrick is a very strong kid but needs to work on his defense, because he fought two guys with strong chins outside brazil and he had problems( probaly because here in brazil he just need´s 2 ou 3 minutes do beat his opponents). If you watch Samir x Daniel Geale, you will see that he wasn´t a bum and that was a good win for Patrick Teixeira.

Honestly? I've seen better prospects. He's got power but his defense is wide and his opponent is crap. I doubt he'll ever be a world beater, If he ever gets the current Jesse Vargas level I would be stunned.
Not impressed with his power or handspeed, and he's wide open to counters. There was a huge volume of puches there but very few of them were actually effective -- loads just bounced straight off Samir's gloves. Whenever Samir tried the even the most basic defensive manuvers he found good success with them, making Parick miss. I'm highly unconvinced.
very wide and slow with his punches. he leads with his head a lot. his accuracy and punching power are nothing to write home about. poor defense. he had the perfect opponent in there with him. the guy hardly threw anything back. his aggression will get him ko'd against a moderately skilled fighter.
