here's one i don't know if many people will know about. a good story anyway.

danny green (and jeff fenech, his trainer) walked into james toney's gym and challenged him to a sparring session.

toney came out and beat up green pretty good but one guy who was there that day said that green was as hard a man as he'd seen for the punishment he took.

toney taunted fenech to come in too, which of course didn't happen, and toney then said to green that if he every came in and challenged him like that again he'd beat him up for real.

green agreed and they shook hands.

i don't remember the circumstances that put green and fenech at the gym at that time but this is a close to as account of something that happened years ago.
