Ketchel by all reports was a "rip snortin puncher", with both hands, an animal, as he was described...About Willie Lewis, true story...Sidenote...In 1935, Joe Louis ,fighting the indestructable Paolino Uzcudun of Spain, KO'd Uzcudin with a one punch right hand thatDrove Paolino's front teeth threw his lips...True story...That;s how hard young Joe Louis could send it....

No place for Max Baer on your list? A man who was responsible for the deaths of two men?

I would have thought you mentioned Monzon  But both would be good picks Baer and Monzon.

randell bailey had nothing but a limp wristed jab + booming right cross
lennox lewis before he added the left hook his right broke threw alot of defences
    tszyu's crunching right hand....
,are we counting right handers or can we adding southpaws? joel casamayors left hookross when he wasnt bothered about circling around the ring stopped alot of people

Ketchel's easily one of the first that jumps to my mind on this subject. Mostly all my picks have been named though, Arguello (who had it in both hands), Hearns is just the most obvious of them all. Mike Spinks and Carlos Zarate should be mentioned in this company, Baer's right was just raw also. On a different note, we could mention Schmeling, not so much for the power, but the potency, as accurate a power shot i've seen, and it worked in terms of leverage, not pure power. He would lure a man onto it and just punch through them. Jimmy Wilde must be up there pound for pound. Ingemarr Johannson anyone?

If southpaws are to be included, then Hagler belongs, as his right jab was in reality what Liston's left jab was in mythology.

Sullivan belongs here. Even in losing the title to Corbett, he did bowl over the challenger with a big right hand, his first good punch of the fight, in round 19.

Like Ingo, Coetzee was wholly dependent on his right to inflict damage.

Hearns, Monzon, Shavers, Arguello and Louis are obvious choices. Certainly the Maxes, Schmeling and Baer, deserve consideration. Graziano was described as throwing his right like a ball on a chain. Moore would certainly nominate Durelle for this list. Archie considered the first right hand Yvon dropped him with to be the hardest single shot he was hit with in his entire career, and it is a beaut of a punch, very similar to the first right Baer floored Carnera with.

Ali's not always thought of in this way, but aside from Bonavena, how often was his right NOT responsible for getting an opponent out of there? Watch his final stoppage win over southpaw Richard Dunn. All he does is dart his lead right over Dunn's guard repeatedly, staggering and knocking him silly.

Marciano did not really master his use of the left hook until around the time he surprised and impressed Louis with it, and Joe may well have been counting on the expectation that Rocky was still right hand dependent to get through to another title shot. The fact remains that Marciano first became a top contender largely on the power of his right alone.

Seeing Robinson whack Dykes with precise rights to the ribs, and put Graziano's leg to sleep in knocking out his mouthpiece with a single cross, can he reasonably be omitted?

Jeffries did all the (considerable) damage with his right hand in the Sharkey rematch, his vaunted left having been injured in training.

Not saying I'd include all these names in a top ten listing, just trying to expand the data base a bit beyond some others previously mentioned (like Ketchel, Carpentier and Delaney).

Rosario? (Rated a harder puncher than Arguello by Ramirez.)
