Well, were it not for the constraints of time this morning..yes I also include Monzon of course. Before the toll taken by arthritis and a bullet lodged in his shoulder/arm, Monzon fronted the power of that right hand more..he adopted a more patient, debilitating and calculating style thereafterwards...he used it more sparingly and pulled the power of it somewhat. The right he bludgeoned Nino Benvenuti with was a deadly weapon. It ranks among the top rights of history.

Julian Jackson had such ludicrous power in both hands that it seems almost unfair to his left hand to praise his right.

When I think of a great right hand puncher, I think of Tommy Hearns. I know there are many more, but he is the first name that came to mind.

Lobotomy, I like your description of Grazizno throwing a right hand...I saw Graziano pre-Zale many times,oh what a thrilling fighter young Rocky was those days...He threw his right hand, like a wild arcing club...Not much on his left hand though..Tough, tough guy...

Well said. "The Hawk" is one of my favorite fighters of all time. His knockout of Terry Norris actually gave me a headache.

Louis knocked Paulino's gold teeth out, they were on the ring canvas, like a charm bracelet.
    It was Braddock you
were referring to, he put Braddock's teeth through the mouthpiece and into his lips.

i know moore holds the record for knockouts but whenever i watched it, it never appeared THAT devastating. it was sneaky, well placed, with some pop. **** it, he must have been doing something amazing to knock out so many guys

Julian Jackson had power that was just beyond belief even when he was well past his prime. Could you imagine him fighting with 6 oz gloves against opponents with no mouthpiece!

i honestly feel he's in the sam langford level of power: he could have taken on the heavyweights of years gone by. i can see him in the ring with a 180-185 pound man. the only problem was he wasn't that physically imposing and his chin wasn't the best. but he could knock out damn near anyone if he can land that right
