    10 - Young Stribling
    09 - Peter Jackson
    08 - Jack Blackburn
    07 - Lloyd Marshall
    06 - Harry Wills
    05 - Holman Williams
    04 - Packey McFarland
    03 - Jimmy Bivins
    02 - Charley Burley
    01 - Sam Langford

    You got a list?

Do you think that Wills should be above Marshall?

    Would you shuffle the order?

Honourable mentions - Kid Norfolk and Eddie Booker.

Boxrec has him winning 257 fights and losing only 15.

He holds wins over Maxie Rosenbloom, Battling Levinsky, Jimmy Delaney, Tommy Loughran, Mike McTigue, some of them more than once.

You don't like his connections? You think these wins weren't on the up and up?

    Good list, mcG

I think I'd have Joe Jeanette in my top 10.

Stribling's wins over great fighters are ,2 over Rosenbloom, very creditable,2over Loughran.one in which he thumbed Loughran, and a loss to Loughran. One win over Levinsky ,who was 35 and on the slide, and two wins over Slattery, again very creditable though he was 10lbs heavier than Slattery in one fight. One win over a 32 year old Mctigue ,and one fixed fight that had the decision reversed.Stribling imo ,was very good but not great.
