Kind of surprised no one mentioned Duran...

Tyson, Pryor, Chang, Fenech, Benn, just to name a few.

Johnson and Holyfield? No way. And Barrera was a good counter puncher. Hearns was a good mover and boxer with a big punch and Duran is slicker than people give him credit - there are way more aggressive guys than this. Read up on Tom Sharkey and Ad Wolgast.

Just to keep the ball rolling: Battling Nelson, Beau Jack, Kid Norfolk, Lloyd Marshall, Pancho Villa, Gene Fullmer (most of the time anyway), Bob Satterfield (a little less later in his career, but until then...), and by reputation, Elmer Ray, Jack Dillon and Ever Hammer.

Gerald McClellan has to be mentioned. He was a ****ing animal, more so than Nigel Benn I would think.

Duran definately deserves a mention, as does Lewis when he was in destroy mode, (ie Ruddock, Golata) and Tyson probably won 1/2 his fights before they started. Opponents where scared **** of him, andt those who weren't got hit pretty damn early in the fight. Foreman too was very aggressive, he wasn't known for taking a backward step. Dempsey, Fraizer, Liston, Louis, Ketchel, ...the list is long.

Didn't Wodgast end up in a loony bin? If so, maybe 'the voices' drove his aggression

Prime Liston just walks into the ring and he is "aggressive".
