Hughes hasn't been subbed in nine years? I seem to remember a pudgy Hawaiian guy slapping the ol' republican national committee on him four or five years ago, not to mention GSP making him scream "Tap TAp TAP!!!" with an arm bar.

A list of "dominant ground fighters" doesn't have GSP who took down and controlled Hughes and Trigg and Penn and Fitch, but it has Diaz because he triangled Kurt Pelligrino after getting worked for a round and a half? That list sucks.

Ok, explain me HOW GSP don't have AT LEAST an honorable mention? Last time I checked, wrestling, positionning and GnP are part of Ground game..
    He is dominating everyone there.
And lol at Brock Lesnar having an honorable mention. and at Matt Hughes doing nothing.
The difference in ground game between GSP and Hughes is so apparent when you watch their fight vs Serra. I don't know. I must be too much pro GSP to see that his ground game isnt that good. lol.

**** honourable mention GSP should easily be top 5. His wrestling is his best attribute and he uses it to dominate everyone including wrestlers like Fitch and Koscheck and talented BJJ fighters like BJ Penn. Speaking of which I'm surprised that Penn didn't at least get an honourable mention aswell.

All Matt Hughes does is loose a lot of weight before a fight, lie on top of his opponents and win via decision. It's not dominant it's just being heavy and lazy.

    10. Nathan Diaz
    9. Matt Hughes
    8. Renato "Babalu" Sobral
    7. Jake Shields
    6. Urijah Faber
    5. Miguel Torres
    4. Demian Maia
    3. Antonio Rodrigo Noguiera
    2. Shinya Aoki
    1. Fedor Emelianenko

The author of this list strangely does not consider wrestling "ground fighting"

Obviously guys like Josh Barnett and GSP make the list of best ground fighters. And as others have pointed out....no BJ Penn?
