Lets say it happens. How do you guys think its gonna go? Will loma start earlier since he already knows how leo fights? Will Teo go for a KO knowing he can hurt Loma?
I don't think this one goes the distance. Loma knows he can't afford to take the early rounds off and will come out more aggressive, Teo needs to weather the storm and use his physicality to keep Loma off him. I think it's a true 50/50 as even though the first fight was conclusive in outcome, there are still many questions left to be answered.
Loma is hungry and motivated, training like never before(his own words) He will stop Lopez this time and then people will say that Lopez was not so good and his injury was legit. most of the fans always follow the winner, no matter who it will be. so after Loma win, they will start hating Lopez same way.
Its likely a rematch will never happen. inactivity is going to make it too difficult for Teo to stay at 135.
I liked teofimo, but i think its a ***** move to deny the immediate rematch then just go up to 140. I think that fight was a draw. he was great in the 12th but no doubt loma deserves a rematch.
Lomachenko makes the required adjustments and wins decisively. Clear UD or late stoppage. That is.... If the fight actually happens after Lopez is done with Kambosos Jr.
I won't be surprised if he does that... But it would be a move he'd very quickly regret. Top guys at 140 probably beat him. There's way more money in the Lomachenko rematch and he won the first... So why not go that route and move up to 140 later?
I would pick Loma. Teo fought his perfect fight that night. Can he replicate it? Maybe. But Loma would mos def make his adjustments early on.
If Loma's shoulder was an issue, I can see Loma putting a hurt on Lopez. If it had nothing to do with the first fight, then Lopez wins again.
