Lopez was only 23 when he comprehensively beat Loma first fight.......Thinking being a year older and a bit more close to his prime will be to much for Loma again.!!!

Loma decision. But he will not walk through Lopez and Loma might even get dropped once. Loma trying to open up on Lopez will open himself up for counters. Don't be fooled by the Nakatani fight.

Loma waited too long to step on the gas but when he figured him out, he was landing the bigger shots in the second half. Teo knew it and scurried away rather than give him a rematch.

The fight was very close even though Loma was fighting with one healthy shoulder. The guy who dominated Nakatani will no mas Teo, assuming Lopez even gives him a rematch. He’s more likely to find an excuse and run to 140 to protect that 0.

Your assuming the shoulder hindered Loma. It may not have. Loma never said that nor do I believe anyone from his team. Also, consider the fact that he threw more punches in the 2nd half of the fight than the first, with the 12th being his highest output round. Not consistent with someone fighting with a bad shoulder. Only a rematch will answer this question.

    Loma pressures early

    He hits the canvas

He crawls to the corner and manages to tag in Usyk

Usyk rushes over and knocks Lopez flat out with a bodyshot

Just as the ref is about to wave it off Eddie Hearn tackles him from behind who grabs the mic. "Not on my watch, presenting the 2 time unified heavyweight champion of the world, Anthony Joshua" Just as AJ is about to make his way into the ring to obliterate the pumped up cruiserweight he hears something in the distance "You big stiff idiot" It's Tyson Fury taunting him from the crowd! AJ begins chewing his gumshield, the fight is over before it begins. Usyk has won. The new heavyweight champion of the world.

Not likely Loma might agree to fight vs Lopez at 140 lbs.
Loma was 27 when he had no problems to make 126 lbs and not likely he is walking around at full 140 lbs today.

Lopez dad and team together with Arum might make fight that will earn more money than Loma rematch.
Crawford vs Lopez at 147 lbs.
Lopez is walking around at least 150-154 lbs, so there lesser weight cut and problems with this.
Crawford is enough well known in US and Arum might make such fight. I think Terence will be happy for such opportunity.
Paycheck for Lopez will be good, everyone will be happy.

I hope we get to see the second fight. I’ve watched the first fight a few times and many of Lopez’s punches the announcers were raving about were blocked. Loma definitely landed the bigger punches but not enough. I hope Lopez doesn’t ***** out and gives him a rematch.
