    Just reading about the legendary Cuban passing away , in the cold war era he was given mythical status by boxing fans , and in a era now where the term legend is thrown around too much he definately is - the age old question is - could he have beaten or troubled Ali as a pro .

    sad news indeed, one of if not the best amateurs ever? watching footage of the guy the fight with ali would have been awesome imo but it is hard to tell given he never went pro, a cuban legend none the less

    RIP he was a legend. pity he wasnt in the mix with ali, foreman, frazier, etc...

    He was nearly as good an amateur boxer as Ty Cerminara. They both could of had amazing careers IF they turned pro. HAHAHAHAHAHA

    even looks like ali. wonder is the eastern blok PEDs he would of been ordered to take, took years off his life?
