    Wilder couldn't tie Stevenson's boots.

If Wilder becomes heavyweight champion this weekend, he already would have accomplished more than Stevenson ever did.

Heavyweight champion of the world >>>> Amateur Gold Medals

So he's achieved more because the other was never a professional?

Ask ANY fighter what they'd rather have: Olympic Gold or a belt? Gold every time. Roy Jones will tell you that.

Deontay is a bum. He's never thought anybody of note, let alone a live body or a top 10 fighter.

Stevenson was a seasoned pro who fought under the amateur banner. I like Wilder and want to see him at least become a respectable contender, but Stevenson eats him alive.

ANY live body eats fraud Wilder alive. There is a REASON he's fought stiffs for so long. Soon, this con job ends.

Yeah, I'm sure most fighters would prefer to have worthless gold medals rather than a world title earning millions of dollars as a professional. :patsch

Gee, I wonder why all those Cuban fighters in recent years defected. To earn more gold medals, or try to earn millions fighting for a world title they hold far more prestigious? :patsch

Why do amateur fighters jump to pro's at first opportunity? Surely not to earn more worthless amateur medals, is it?

Stevenson is a nobody who would have been knocked out by Ali, Foreman, Frazier etc... because he was conditioned to be an amateur fighter, not a professional where flaws are immediately magnified.

Like we saw with pretty much every cuban defector so far, the only successful one being Rigondeaux.

Imagine if Solis had never gone pro. We'd never see him to be the fatass sloppy heavyweight that he is, in fact he'd probably be regarded by you as one of the best heavyweights of all time despite not setting a single foot in a pro ring.

Gold is trading at $1300 per ounce hardly worthless.

Earning gold in the ams enhances careers adding legitamcy. Who dosent want to get paid in any profession.

Forman won Gold, Frazier won Gold, Ali won Gold. Nobody fights the best in the world winning 9 Golds with a weak chin.

Who knows if foreman frazier or ali could have knocked out Stevenson or if he would knock them out.

The question was could that punk azz bronze medalist wilder beat Stevenson. The answer is a resounding Hell NAW

Here's a news flash...Olympic Gold medals are actually made of silver, and coated with a gold color with very little actual gold content.

Winning gold medals doesn't translate into professional success. Just look at Audley Harrison, David Reid, Tyrell Biggs, Henry Tillman, etc... and more all failed spectacularly as a pro. Let's add Solis and Gamboa to Gold medalists who failed spectacularly as well.

As far as Stevenson, he was stopped by Vysotsky. Ali, Frazier, Foreman etc.. all seasoned professional fighters, would have more than likely done the same.

As far as Wilder, who knows. The point is, if Wilder becomes heavyweight champion tonight, that's far more of an accomplishment than ANY amateur success. FACT.

    Professional >>>>> Amateurs.

Heavyweight Champion of the World >>>>> Amateur Gold Medal

You are entitled to your opinion and it is soley yours. Fighting your way through thirty tomato cans as compared to fighting for Olympic gold through the best the world has to offer is Greater in my opinion.

There have been far more successes than failures from Olympic Gold in the professional ranks. In fact that Gold opens doors and present far more opportunites than not having that Gold medallion.

Stevenson being stopped does not diminish his 9 gold medals and a twenty year reign as a champion. Foreman was stopped, frazier was stopped, Ali was stopped nevertheless they are Great Gold medal champions.

Wilder is a joke 30 tomato cans earns the right to fight for a world championship. The heavyweight division is a joke. If that clown wins it means nothing other than a fix is in.
