What was it? I'm trying to line up some research to create an accurate version of him on Fight Night Rd.4 and I can't seem to find his reach. Anybody?

Couldn't find his reach, but bare in mind it was pretty long and he's only a touch under 6'4"

I always thought Stevenson was 6'5".That reach didn't help him against Igor Vysotsky, and I would've loved to see what Page would've done to him.

Something in the recesses of my distant recall ascribes a reach of 78 inches to Stevenson. I don't remember that his wingspan was anything other than normal for a man of his height.

78" would be extemely short for a man of his height, especially one who looked rangy even for a tall guy.

    Likely a made-up stat.

78" for 76" or less guy is really not short. just not long. very normal .
as height stats are being extremely inflated , reach stats follow them.
in one place toney's reach is 75" (TV broadcast) then in boxrec it was 72" , and then they fixed it to 70" . same with ronald hearns who was listed as 76" and then they fixed it to something like 73".

A 78" reach for a guy who stands 6'4" is pretty typical. It does seem to me that Stevenson's reach must have been a little longer, though.

Stevenson claimed that his reach was longer than Muhamad Ali's.

Surprisingly, there's no information on google about Stevenson's reach. Everyone agrees he was between 6'4" and 6'5" tall, but nothing at all on his reach. In his pictures, he certainly looks like his reach must be longer than 78". Ali's reach was 80", and Stevenson is reputed to have had longer reach than Ali.

I wouldn't be surprised if Stevenson's reach was more like 82" to 84". But who knows...photographs can be deceiving.

After a lot of simple research one article turned up 84 inches. However, there were no sources for the article or a citation as to where that number came up. Looking at Stevenson, I'll bite. 84 seems very appropriate.

Edit: Here's the article, "The Cuban Ali".

You can't even make anyone '84 in reach, at least in FNR4, since the highest reach was '82
