    All this before his son even fought on PPV, smh.

    I see Teofimo doing numbers in the 100-150K range.

    He has gained a lot of respect for taking on and beating loma, but Idk if he has the name to headline PPVs. He can be a ppv star, but not yet.

    If he can make it happen, though, good for him.

    He needs to step up his level of opposition if he wants PPV money. That means big names only, no overmatched opponents like his next one. I hope he does it because it’s good for boxing, on paper at least.

    Side note, his father is a tool and makes it hard for me to root for him. I try to keep this separate from the fighters I follow but his dad is classless and unlikeable. Maybe his plan is to make so many enemies, people will pay to see him lose. If that’s the case, he’s doing a great job. Maybe his dad is a genius, no joke.

    There's only one possible PPV worthy fight for him at 140, maybe he's expecting Garcia and Haney to follow him up.

    The only other option is quickly moving to 147 which will be an option in several years, but not now.

    Why not now? Lopez is a big kid. No doubt he's over 150 on fight night.

    He's able to step up in competition early because of his size advantage.

    He's too raw to be the smaller man (for the next few years), even Taylor is going to be a big challenge. I think Crawford would hurt him, Spence would lose 1-2 rounds goofing off, Porter is too strong, Danny Garcia would be boring style wise, and the rest are no more popular than the people he could find at 140.

    Wtf... The kid weight bullied Loma and still got his ass handed to him in the second half of the fight. And outright refused a rematch with a Loma with two functioning arms. Lopez also should really have a loss against Nakatani. Trilla are marketing rejects, that's why that bid was insanely high

    Trilla overpaid for the Kambosos fight. I seriously doubt Teofimo is going to get the same paychecks from Trilla after this one.

    Kambosos fight they definitely will not sell well. Worse income than from rematch vs Loma, fight vs Tank etc alike fights.
    Lopez also didn't had wins via stoppage in his last 2 fights : Nakatani and Loma. This too might impact interest decline and Kambosos is well known only in Australia.
