i dont think loma can hurt this kid, hes solid as a brick outhouse. hes got the speed and power of ryan garcia, the strength of spence, and appears to have a chin to match all that. ive hyped very few fighters, all of them were the real deal, i think teo is legit. he has some huge fights ahead of him if he can keep focused.
i give loma the edge right now, cause im not sold on teos dad as a trainer vs a fighter as multifaceted as loma. loma, mikey, and teo could make some huge fights between them. im excited for the next couple years at lightweight.

López looks the actual goods as a hyped prospect for a change, but are we not getting a bit carried away? Let’s not forget Terry bloody Flanagan took Magadalemo out in two

Teofimo Ko's Turbo Flanagan in 2!

    The take over is here..

Teofimo speed and power and he looks like he has the stamina, heart, chin and all that to go a long with his tremendous boxing skills.

I'm probably crazy, but I get mad Fernando Vargas-vibes from Lopez: mad potential and good power, but getting pushed a bit quickly into the way of the big guns based on performances against guys who are... well, are Magadalemo.

Lopez has quick, heavy hands. However, he's been paired to date with relatively over-matched opponents who lack elite level athleticism. Lomachenko has athleticism in spades and doesn't have to "hurt" this kid to outbox and frustrate him.

What happens, for example, when Lopez's "jump" uppercuts/hooks and initial offense are mitigated--especially in the early rounds-- by Lomachenko's foot speed and angles? Does he have the requisite ring IQ, patience, and technical ability to box Lomachenko when he can't load up and land his heavy artillery with anywhere near the same regularity as he's accustomed to??

I think Lopez has a bright future, particularly as he improves his craft and learns to rely less on his physical gifts. If the two fight in 2019, however, Lomachenko beats the kid via decision.

Promising and exciting young talent tainted somewhat by an abbhorent attitude which needs to be brought into check. Hope he gets humbled sooner rather than later so he can learn the value of sportsmanship. I'm thinking Loma would get the job done 100%

Loma, Tank, Pedraza, Linares all mollywhop this bratty clown. Prime Walters does too. Wouldntbeven be surprised if Marriaga sends him to time out face first on the canvas. Who has he fought that actually was a threat and had the power/skills to pose a legit threat. Commey wrecks this ddildo too.

If Oumiha was able to school Lopez easily, imagine what Loma would do :nonono

Lopez has nowhere near the Foot speed, footwork, experlance, and intangibles to do anythingnother than quit on his stool. Mikey Garcia would put this kid in a hospital bed and diaper with a catheter jammed up his crank. I can see about 5 guys embarrassing Lopez so bad that he and his daddy break into uncontrollable tears during and after the fight. Hes a classic bully. I'm calling it now, watch he and his team white flag it the second they are in with an opponent that totally outclasses Lopez. And dont get it twisted, beating Magdaleno and Menard are far from that. I KNOW of at least 5 fighters that make this pathetic family shut the **** up and convert to Buddhist monks.

He's got power but I don't see the speed. He may have it against a guy like Magdaleno but, come on, all this gushing over a victory with a fighter at this level? Some of you guys are too much. TL would be in the fight against Loma but if I were putting money down I would without question take Loma. And TL's behavior after the KO was disgusting, inexcusable. Would love to see someone K him TFO. Can't stand that kind of crap.
