I think Tank is much worse for Loma stylistically and is a much tougher fight than Lopez ever will be. And Tank gas fought and beaten WAY better opposition than Lopez. Also, while Lopez has a reach advantage on Loma, the way he fights does makes that a moot point/non-factor. Hes just a bigger framed and more muscular guy with way more power. Bit their clash in skills, ability, and style along with Lomas ability to turn disadvantages into an advantage for him leave me no other reason to logically think that Loma turns this kid into a special physicalspecimen turned punching bag and once he turns the heat up I see no other ending than Lopez folding and either getting frustrated and knocked out or quitting on his stool. Who knows, maybe thats what he needs and is what is best for his career. A certain type and amount of respect is reserved for fighters who were badly beaten but tlook that beating and became better because of it.
Kid is 21 years old and Loma best to take him on now because the kid is going to take over in the near future and is only going to get better and better. You Loma fans ready or not here he comes. This content is protected
You are right. The possible next three fights for Loma is as follows : - vs Crolla (for WBA mandatory) - vs Commey (for IBF title) - vs Garcia (for WBC title) All are the fights that he needs to do in order to be an undisputed champion in the weightclass. And all of this probably would take at least 14-16 months at least. Lopez needs to be official challenger within that period of time while maintaining his weight to be still in 135 if he still wants to fight Loma.
For a guy that doesn't love Lomachenko you certainly love talking about him. And claim all of his past opponents cough "QUITTERS" beat this most impressive 21 year old prospect in the world. The kid is 21 just wants to be one of the the youngest world champion in the game. But hey he can wait i guess. Do the process of beating all these champions etc. Like Pedraza who is scared to get in the ring with him.Linares who i believe would get KTFO in round 1 because Linares is done and is packing a glass jaw. Who else you keep raving on about? Oh, yeah! The 4 musket quitters. Rungundeaux: Old man would get a hiding with Lopez. Walters: Only fought old Donaire and Darchinyan who were Flyweights at one stage. Fearsome punchers.I think he might be game enough to get in the ring with Lopez because Pedraza is not keen. Maybe call up Walters.Sosa: Oh, God he would get a beating. I don't even want to see this demolition job. It would be the worse beating you will ever see. Last but not least. Marriaga! LOL are you serious? This would be another easy work for Lopez.
You got that poster nailed down. Homie loves typing walls of text when it comes to loma, and he waxes on poetically about the most mundane bs exploring loma's exquisite boxing art.
I think Lopez gives Loma a tough fight for sure, but the only way I can see him actually winning is if he gets him after Loma has aged & slowed. Don't see Grandpa Bob making this fight until he has milked Lomachenko for all the money he's worth + has clearly lost a good step.
I just watched Teofimo's recent fight and this will be a great thread to bump if Lopez ever fights Lomachenko because Teofimo has NO CHANCE!! Find another hope!
why is Lopez touted as some monstrous KO machine?! 14 low level fights & 3 men have already gone the distance with him.. How naive are some of u? These guys are put in there to be blown away by him.. not saying he can't punch but come on.. The axe man is the only man to ever stop Donaire! Frampton, Rigo, Magdaleno, Vetyeka, Vic, Arce, Nishioka, Montiel etc couldn't do it.. That's genuine power! & Loma treated him like a 14 year old pump attendant.. call me when he stops someone like that! In fact don't.. cos he posed almost zero threat to Loma who pretty much took his right hand away This content is protected Keep hoping tho.. one day he'll get old & all your dreams will come true
The Axe Man could crack, dude. Before that fight lots of people were picking Walters. Then Loma completely dominated him and suddenly Walters was mediocre. Loma embarrassed him so badly he quit boxing at 30...after just 1 loss. I like Teo, but I don't think he's ready for Loma. But, the Commey fight will be very interesting, if Lopez does get past him, what the hell, throw him in with Loma and see what happens. Why not? Let the kid take his shot and find out. The fight will sell and Teo will have a strap. Let 'er rip.
