Shakur is a fairly big fighter and could reach 140 pounds without any problem. I know he doesn't have a punch because he knocks out by accumulating blows, however he is a great boxer so what would this be like?
Shakur isn't even proven at 135, let alone 140. That being said, he is the kind of fighter that Lopez would struggle with. I personally thnk Shakur may pick him apart if they ever crossed paths
I genuinely believe Stevenson is special and will become one of the best of his generation, so I think he beats Lopez if they ever fight.
Agreed. Stevenson is in a stacked division and seems like he wants the big fights, and I think he wins most if not all of them. Has future HOF and p4p#1 written all over it.
I'm all aboard the Shakur hype train too, he has special talents and i also see potential P4P #1 in the future.
Shakur 25 and tank 28 .Teo the one seeking the best opps beating loma at age 23 and Taylor 25.Shakur great beating tin cans and no hopers. His best win is Valdez who had his jaw broken by Qugley let that sink in..Please dont fight loma.Haney got to loma when he is finished wtong side of 30 fighting for Ukrain and long time in the front lines etc..
Shakur is the best at 135, at 140 now theres more questions to be asked. Given the clash of styles though, id slightly favor Shakur at 135 or 140.
Yep he'd beat Lopez at his own game. Lopez is a good counter puncher but Shakur is next level and Lopez would be the one made to miss and then get countered. Shakur has some very subtle skills, love how he uses his lead hand to control fighters, making them react to it, then reading their reactions and predicting what they will do and then throws the rear hand to land in the opening his lead hand has created. You can see that in the Haney sparring sessions, jabs, Haney moves his head to slip, Shakur lands the left rear hand to where his head has slipped to, he does it over and over again and controls Haney by doing this, who ends up unwilling to commit for fear of counters. It's going to take someone very special to beat Stevenson.
Shakur has only beaten 2 world champions: The much smaller Valdez who clearly lost his previous fight and has been involved in half a dozen life and death struggles where he's been hurt and/or dropped. And a past prime Herring who was bang average in his prime and couldn't even hang below world level at his natural weight
Shakur has the style to give Teo hell the same way Sandor Martin did. But I’d rather wait for Shakur to fight someone notable at 135 first before assuming that he’d be successful at 140.
He is 25 and is still fighting no hopers.Network needs to put him in the fire see if he can handle the heat. Same with tank they fightjng lower weight boxers and insta stars.Teo at 23/25 is fighting monsters. Moving up and fights a massive boxer for the weight and a tough sob.2 division lineal world champ. He is the only one doing these thang thangs.
Interesting fight. Even thought they're around the same weight, I do see Lopez as a naturally bigger, stronger guy. Love to see it down the line.
