I’m not going to read the long winded post of a half Witt. Loma took the loss like a pro. I could care less what people bet on. It’s a fight, there is a winner and a loser. Loma lost but made it interesting against a bigger younger guy. I wish more fighters would take these chances and fight top guys.

You are the typical loser typing BS from the basement of your parents home (most likely). I hope you get outside, try to better yourself. Maybe take a couple classes at the Jr. college. It might be too late for you but you never know.

You are a demented loser. You think Loma faked surgery as well? He made no excuses and walked away. His team wanted him to postpone the fight but he threatened to retire if they postponed it. No shame on losing to a good fighter like Lopez. It’s boxing and anything is possible. You make it about emotions and conspiracy. Take off the tinfoil hat.

I don’t know anything about Lopez’s dad other than the fact that he’s a scumbag with a big mouth. Sounds like you are listening to one side of the story. It’s not surprising you identify so closely with him. He’s from the same mold as Danny Garcia’s scumbag father.

Too convenient! Seriously, does it sound right that he would rather retire than postpone the fight? That makes no sense. Watch the fight, Loma never favored his arm, he was never asked was his arm ok. In fact, his corner told him to start throwing more punches. Not one mention of his arm the entire fight. I watched the fight several times, no indication his arm was giving him issues. Perhaps he's an extremely good blogger. I go by what I see. Honestly, did you see Loma wince, hold his arm or make any indication his arm was hurting?

Okay Sherlock. I don’t think he’s the kind of guy who would make excuses, like Rigo. He lost the fight on the cards and made it interesting by landing some good shots for a pretty good stretch. He fought with a bad arm previously and didn’t wince or show pain. These guys are pro fighters. I wouldn’t expect Loma to show pain or make excuses afterwards. He didn’t. The surgery appears to be legit. We will see but I have no reason to doubt him.

No need for apologies! I'm not cutting Loma slack because, I'm tired of fighters coming up with excuses for losing or having a bad night and their fans excepting it. He should have not fought if he was in such bad shape. Retire, but don't come out days before the fight saying you're 100% and this was the best training camp you had in years, when you know your shoulder is injured. Either he lied to us then or he's lying to us now. I believed him when he said he was 100%, not believing him now!

He may not be the type of guy to make excuses, but he is a liar. 100%, best camp in years. That's what Loma said days before the fight. I know, fighters won't say they are injured, but it's maddening when this stuff happens. Totally takes away the validity of Lopez's win.

I get that. That's just very easy for message board posters to say. There's no 'lying' involved here. Just bad assumptions regarding an injury and a sense of confidence he can win with it. So many here just take such a negative outlook on fighters, or other pro athletes, which is all too easy from behind a computer. That stance that just because he said he was 100%, means he actually was, is very naïve.

Fact of the matter is, you have to take most of what boxers say in interviews or TV w/ a little grain of salt. I mean, for ****'s sake, they are trying to sell themselves AND the fight. I don't understand posters like you who hold on this weird belief w/ this attitude. That's not real world stuff.

I dont have favorite fighters!! I'm a fight fan I want to see the better man on the night rightfully get the win. With Floyd & Canelo especially that does NOT happen every time. They got the "wins" regardless. There are no bigger fan boys than you Floydette/Cleneloites. Youre hilarious !!!
