That's surprising. Who woulda thunk it.

Too many men get ****ed over by the system. That's not to say that Women don't do. Good and bad on both sides. But far too many men are getting stripped of what's theirs and that includes their kids.

    The system is lousy.

His problem is crearly in his head, reagardless of if he acts completely crazy in his interviews or not. It's not a problem of talent, that's for sure, he is incredibly talented. And what's worse, his current potential is even bigger than his talent, he could improve little things here and there and become an absolute beast in the ring, but to do that you need to have no problems in your head so that you can think clearly.

Btw, he will not achieve his full potential with his current trainer only. And I don't think that he should fire his father either, probably it wouldnt make him any good. But his father should try to learn and improve and look for help to become a better trainer if he wants his son to achieve his full potential. Maybe looking for some experienced trainer to assist him, or I don't know, but the cap here is in Teo Sr, not in Jr.

Even if Jr has problems in his head, his trainer (Sr.) should be able to guide him and help him to improve and become a better fighter, and Sr is clearly stuck as a trainer imho, he can't get more from Teo Jr, and clearly Teo Jr. has a lot more to offer. It's a pitty.

When you look at his dumbass father I think Teo could have turned out a lot worse all things considering.

Yeahhh like he had technical problems with cutting of the ring with Ortiz, sure, primarily because of lead foot placement. But he was having moments of success.

He was still able to land good shots on him, like when he feinted with a right to the body and landed a hook to the head. Yet instead of capitalizing on that with Ortiz he just lunged at him when he was frustrated in the later rounds hoping to land something big. Another example was when he patiently let Jamaine fire his shots and Teo easily sliipped and countered with a right hand. But once again got frustrated and impatient later on with the clock ticking down which led to his downfall.

Which brings back to your point, the mental game. His patience which brought him success against Loma and Taylor definitely wasn't there.

Yeahhh out of the so called "4 Kings" you know Tank, Devin, Shakur, I think Teo is the most talented and has the most potential, but at the same time the most inconsistent

    Edit: Closely tied with Shakur

He probably wasn't the smartest to begin with; but when you add in the massive ego and delusions of grandeur, the blows to the head he must of accumulated over the years and his apparent proclivity for hallucinogens it's no surprise he's a bit odd.

A boxer going off the rails? Say it ain't so. Imagine ethnic fighters who spoke English with access to social media back in the day? What a sight.

Teo has mental issues? Big shocker. The guy is in a sport where the goal is to beat the other guys head in for 12 rounds, sometimes in brutal fashion. I'm not surprised he's showing signs of delusion.
