12/10/2022 was not a great day for him afterall. (Apparently, those feetballs awards were the more important event for his night) One might argue he lost the fight against Sandor Martin... He was even knocked down! 97-92? No way! The judges were doing him a favour. The ref clearly was (should've been officially knocked down twice)
No, it's inarguable, he DID lose the fight to Martin, 99-90 or 98-91, and that's without a knockdown Martin was robbed of.
Man I called it I said weeks ago they was finna rob martin it honestly looked like to me sandor was winning the late rounds
I had it 6-4 Martin. Plus knockdown. And he SHOULD of had two knockdowns. Terrible cards but uncle Bob protecting his guys for a long time. Disgusting.
Martin has no pop. Teofimo was repeatedly throwing his right to the body even if Martin was blocking majority of those shots. There was little affective aggression on either side. Martin needed to be more active with his jab.
I had Lopez winning 95-94 . Martin should have gotten credit for another knock down but he didn't so. Martin was very slick but he retreated the whole fight and I've never liked to score a fight for a guy who's running for the majority of the round and the harder punches were landed by Teo. Over all I thought it was a disappointing night for Lopez and his future at 140 just had a dark cloud descend upon him.
Spain has no boxing culture so who are they going to market Sandor Martin to? It's dirty, but that's boxing for you.
Lopez must have been thumped by Kambosos harder than was realised. Boxing is the name of the sport, that, Teo has obviously forgotten, perhaps caused by Aussie George! Substitute, Martin, took him to school, despite suffering a broken nose and being denied a second knockdown. These judges, week in, week out, continue with their ineptitude, affecting the lives of boxers. Hopefully Teddy Atlas
Only got to see some highlights in which Teo was landing hard shots while Martin was retreating & partially blocking them, retreating all the way & landing a punch here & there while the other guy is setting up combinations & going forward was what i saw, but it was highlights so that's that.
maybe he did barely enough to win the decision, once the referee robbed a KD to sándor. With the second KD, I really doubt that teo won that fight.
