Rios vs Abril wasn't even remotely competitive, but at the same time that was one of the worst fights I've ever seen. Abril completely stunk the joint up.
Closest fighter to fight and look (in the ring) like a Minnie FMJ OR PBF. This dude is far and away the best small fighter today. He would annihilate loma at 135 loma father or ref would have to stop the best down that's only if loma is truly elite in durability, one sided beat down tko loma within 8. Don't start the BS loma too small blah blah blah, you mean his talent can't carry him to fight true talent his OWN SIZE
im not too sure now, loma looked looked like a little oak, last out. he looked like he could hurt anyone at 135. and i know he can find teos whiskers.
its tightened up. im not convinced loma can stand up to a well timed shot from mikey, while mikey can take clean shots from anyone at 135. i would put them at 60/40 mikey.
after a fight at 140, i think he can. hes really not a big guy. it has to get made, both fighters know it. it would tarnish both their legacies if it dont. i think both guys are serious about legacy. they got different routes planned, but those routes have to intersect at some point, they know it.
I think Mikey needs at least one fight against a Commey or Campbell caliber guy to get his confidence back before going straight to Loma. 147 against Spence then jumping 2 weight classes down to fight Loma is just a bad career decision. We need to see if he's comfortable at 135.
i would rather they get it done as soon as possible, while theyre both peaking. they can do it again afterwards, if theres any doubt left, but the back of their ears dried many years ago, they need to get **** done.
You don't buy the Teo hype? I think he's legit. Too soon for Loma, but he beats everyone else in that division. Josh Taylor vs Teo at 140 is a really interesting match up too.
I don't like him to be honest, he's arrogant and too self-confident, so I'm rooting against him. I think he may beat everyone at 135 besides Loma and Mickey, but the higher weights he gets, the more likely he gets beaten.
