I agree with every word. Lopez is absolutely not right.

 

Not mad at Teofimo Lopez, why should he take less money in order to not look like a "ducker". **** what people think and get as much as possible.

 

Did he ever want the fight or is he using lomas name association to garner attention to himself

 

Teofimo would look less like a ho if he actually proved himself as a draw. Lomachenko isn't a PPV draw himself, but he's unquestionably one of the biggest names in boxing and he's a P4Per.

Not to mention Teofimo has talked smack for years. He should be chomping at the opportunity to fight Lomachenko and he's getting the biggest purse of his career by far.

 

I always wonder how much exactly the amount of money Lopez and his dad have in mind for this fight. I mean, the money offered to them right now is even bigger than what Linares and Pedraza received and those guys are reputable, established and multiple weight champion. And that was in normal time. I can understand that, for such a big unification fight, one might seek and push fee increase of another 100-200k. But if he demands something beyond $2 million, I'd say he already lost his mind.

 

I don't think he's going to get that kind of money at this time. He's not a big enough draw, and there's no live gate for additional revenue. I don't blame Lopez for wanting more money. But he may not get his wish, at least right now.

Exactly, Wilder fans should be fully behind Lopez, Wilder didn't budge on a 60-40 offer, Wilder had one belt, AJ held the rest.. So if it's good enough for Wilder and it wasn't a duck then it should be good enough for Lopez and it isn't a duck.

Actually, Lopez isn't even getting 60-40.


So I'm expecting every Wilder fan who slaughtered the 60-40 offer to be supporting Lopez with the same zest.
