At their best I would go with Lopez.

That being said, the fight I would pay to watch is father Bill facing off with father Teo Sr. The winner gets Danny's dad, Angel Garcia.

 

Lopez did fight a good fight but I do not like how he dropped the belt.

The best thing Haney got going for him is that he is consistent, solid, and disciplined. That’s why I think Haney might get more out of his career then those other guys.

 

Lopez KO. Haney can't take punches from smaller guys how's he going to react getting hit by Lopez

Examples of cowardice. Let me guess, not giving Loma a rematch. The fact that Hany really didn't need to fight Loma in the first place destroys your theory that Haney's a coward.

 

Fighting small guys all his career

Holding for dear life when hurt is another.

You can see that he is afraid to get hit.

So, fighting one of the main guys in the division is not needed for a champion ? are you even a boxing fan ? or fanboy of a coward boxer ?

 

I thought Haney lost to Lomachenko, and I thought Teofimo beat Lomachenko. Still, Teo lost to Kambosos, and Haney beat Kambo.

I think we know what Haney is at this point. He's going to try to box and move, jab and hug guys to a decision like a watered down version of late-career Floyd. That's his game and he's not going to change much. Teo is more talented and more explosive, but not as strong mentally as a guy like Haney.

I would put money on a fully focused Teo, but who knows when that guy is going to show up. Haney is surprisingly weak physically for his size and was getting bullied by Loma - I think physical strength and power would be the big difference. Teo can definitely box with Haney if he wants to.

 

A mentally stable Teo stops Haney.

 

Haney would box Teo too soundly. I'm only suspect of Haney physicality if it came to rough stuff.... but I'm more suspect of Lopez mentality. Seems to be a basket case slipping even further everytime I see him.

 

Haney is quality. Lopez is retired.

 

Styles makes fights and Haney is a style he has trouble with. Lopez likes fighters that come to him, like Taylor and Loma, allowing him to sit back and counter. Haney won't press and lead, he'll make Lopez come to him and we've seen Lopez struggle when doing that vs Kambosos and Martin.

I couldnt agree more. Haney is completely wrong for Teo. You only have to watch the fight vs Sándor to know how many problems Teo has fighting slicksters.

If Teo is 100% focused, I wouldnt discard him ether, though. 100% focused Teo could very well give Haney more than he can handle. Specially at super light weight. The higher the weight, the better for Teo imho. A good fight that it seems we will never watch, unfortunately.
