Teofimo Lopez vs Gervonta Davis

This and Shakur vs Devin are the two fights I want to see the most next year.

I could get excited about this and would happily shell out the hunnet. Think I would root for Tank. Not holding my breath, though.

 

Thats 5 stars fight for me.

 

I've got very mixed feelings on these guys. I generally try not to judge boxers on anything but their abilities in the ring, cause the unfortunate reality is that this sport has a plethora of awful people in its ranks. That said, I'd be lying if I told you their personalities weren't part of the reason I disliked them.

And yet, I find them really entertaining in the ring too. So anytime I tune in, I'll generally be looking forward to it knowing full well they'll win. But in the back of my head I'm pulling for the other dude to pull off a miracle, and moreso than I normally do based just on my love of upsets.

So if this fight comes off, I'll enjoy it, but I think it may be the first time I hope for a double KO

 

Lopez got dropped by Kambosis so he wouldn’t survive a KO from Tank

 

If the fight happens I got Teo by decision.
Rolly and Ryan gave Davis trouble with their size and strength, had him with his back to the ropes and retreating for most of their fights. Teo can implement the same gameplan as those two, but do it better as he is a better overall fighter than Ryan and Rolly.

 

To be fair to Lopez, that was a flash knockdown that happened because he got so up his own ass in the build up he started to believe his own bull**** about how "I'm gonna knock him out in one round!" Against Tank I feel like he'd know he's in against a big puncher, so he'd play it safer.

That aside, I agree. Eventually Tank would catch him and put him down.

 

As usual, fight ain't gonna happen.

Duckvonta's trainer said in an interview that Teo ain't a big enough draw for "the face of boxing" lol. Guess guys like Pitbull are bigger draws than Teo smh

I thought SHOWTIME are out by next year in that case & in general i very much doubt it due to Tank's hesitancy but could see it down the road next year.

 

Gervonta will never ever fight Lopez if you think otherwise you're a fool.

Teo will do Tank EXACTLY like Bud did Spence. Only thing is, Erroll actually had the sack to fight the top guy

 

I'll be pleasantly surprised if this fight happens. No rehdyration clauses please.
