Vergil mangles The Fimo One into something resembling primordial sludge in 2.

Fimo is a big boy and killing himself to make 135 and will go to 140 next year. Ortiz said that he will go back down to 140.

they are different sizes and levels. i just finished my first hard look at vergil, he is going to be a gift to boxing.
teo is good, better than the current pack. his speed and power give him an advantage that average competition cant overcome. but his footwork is non existent, and the relationship with his father is going to stagnate his progress.
vergil seems to have unlimited potential. just a toddler in boxing, but has the footwork, timing and technique of a seasoned pro. he is backed by one of the most powerful promoters in the sport, trained by one of the top trainers in the sport, and spars against some of the top p4p fighters in the sport. he is obviously intelligent, his interviews are insightful. he is obviously dedicated, his trainers are in love with his ethic. he is obviously a show stopper, his record is complete destruction. how far can this kid go?

Verg is way too big for Teo right now. He looked all of 160+ last night. So, Verg by decapitation via the right hand. Ortiz has scary, scary power in that right meat hook.

Hard to say really. He definitely passes the eye test. I like how he took his time with the maestro, didn't just blaze in like an amateur winging shots, almost a flawless victory. Having said that though Herrera is well "seasoned " and looking soft and slow these days. Not hating I just don't want to overreact to the performance. I respect your ability to judge talent so I'll definitely keep an eye on Ortiz jr.

    Awesome KO btw.

that was nowhere near a prime herrera, i dont even think he was in very good shape. but as you said, that was damn near flawless, from an actual kid, in his 12th pro fight. he showed everything you want to see in a prospect, then showed you things you dont expect to see. i really saw no weaknesses in the kid, and i have not said that about any other prospect yet.

Ortiz looks like a real problem. He appears to be a potential monster. Herrera isn't prime but what Ortiz did was telling. Lopez is far too small to even consider that type of guy. Even if Ortiz goes back down to JWW. They (Lopez's people) need to avoid that type of guy.
