To say the heir apparent has done "nothing" is intellectually dishonest. He's given everything he's supposed to at this point in his career other than a win over the highest level in the division and let's be honest, no one is breaking down the door to fight him. Espinoza was about to make Boots his flagship fighter before Showtime went under. Then Ortiz until his physical struggles was also an heir apparent, unfortunately his campaign at 147 is over but people are still looking at him with as if he's gonna be a player at 154 and 160 and he probably will be. Both of them in particular are looked upon very highly, this was 2022 Errol Spence Terence Crawford Jaron Ennis Yordenis Ugas Vergil Ortiz Eimantas Stanionis Keith Thurman Conor Benn Radzhab Butaev David Avanesyan and 2023 Terence Crawford, Champion Errol Spence Jaron Ennis Vergil Ortiz Eimantas Stanionis Giovani Santillan Cody Crawley David Avanesyan Shakhram Giyasov Mario Barrios Alexis Rocha You aren't being honest if you think this lineup is garbage bro. It's not as strong as 18, 19 and 20 but to call it garbage.............
Canelo may be sliding but not almost shot. lol at “better boxer”. The better boxer doesn’t always win nor is being the better boxer a guaranteed win. But a guy will just move up 3 divisions at 36 years old and beat the the champion at 168 who just beat a younger and bigger man than Crawford in a pretty easy fight.
So a guy who is a 2 time lineal champion who happened to get knocked down in, get this, a boxing match, doesn’t deserve to fight a champion one division higher?
In this case, no. Crawford is going up to 154 at least, Lopez is dreaming if he thinks there is anything for Crawford to get excited about in a fight with him. That fight does literally nothing for Crawford. It’s not like Lopez is some sort of ATG. He’s a run of the mill champion who brings nothing to the table here.
Can't say Teo doesn't have the heart of a champion, that would be a hell of a challenge for him if this fight was to happen.
2 division lineal champion isn’t run of the mill. Either way, if Crawford was moving up to 154, he’d have dropped the belts. But he hasn’t.
Yeahh if anything Teo and Boots are the ones most deserving a Crawford fight. Mfs stay hatin I swear...
