    Hmm. I'm not sure Porter is any less stylistically made for Crawford than Kavaliauskas, nor do I think he in truth would be a greater h2h scalp, but he would be a bigger name win...and you're right, it would lend us the chance to contrast his result with his peers. :thumbsup:

    I think you're selling Porter a bit short here. He's given everyone hes been in with hell. Crawford would probably win but I don't think it would be easy. If it's easy.. well there's probably no one at 147 who can cause him any problems whatsoever.

    Boxrec has him ranked at 13 with a 20 something and 0 record.I suppose outside of the main bunch it’s the nearest opponent he could have.
    I like Crawford but he’s not had any career defining fights yet.

    I dont like that fight for Porter. He deserves an easy fight next or some time off. Hes been in against Brook,Thurman,Ugas,Danny and Spence recently. I mean damn! Thats a resume.

    Yes it is a great resume. Some don't like his style, but I adore his passion for the sport. Line 'em up or as he says "Man Down"!

    Kavaliauskas' victory over Avanesyan, btw, has aged very nicely.
