I expect Crawford to stop him. It's good to finally see him in with someone who can actually punch for a change though, especially against someone who he won't have his usual significant weight advantage over or at least shouldn't. Granted he will, as per usual, still have his obligatory reach advantage like he has had in every single one of his world title fights. But he's still dining exclusively down at the C Level Cafe only on this oh so rare occasion he ordered a banger with his mash.

It's a mando, so in one sense it's not completely criticizable. But at the same time, wtf is this fight lmao, no one gives a **** about this. This is why I hate belts and bull**** mandos.

Andre Ward said the other day that Crawford's wins over Burns and Gamboa are what separates him from Loma and Canelo on the P4P rankings :risas3:

I'd love to debate him on that because I'd tear him an A hole a mile wide and then park a ten-tonne truck up there and honk that horn like a maniac.

This is a good fight. You can't complain that a guy is taking on his mandatory. This Lithuanian is certainly no garbage mando.

The real fight here of course is Fimo v. Comney.

    Rock solid card, man.

Exactly, not sure why everyone is shitting on Mean Machine. He's quite good.

I've followed Egis career a long ass time. He used to be at the RGBA so I've known him for over half a decade, and he's not a bum, but he had a super tough fight with Ray Robinson. I want to see Crawford fight Porter, Spence, Pacquiao, Danny/Mikey Garcia or Thurman at least. Now obviously Spence is injured, Pac and Thurman probably want no parts, but I don't know how a Crawford can get up for this fight. I'm excited for Commey/Lopez, but will probably tune in to the main event of the UFC over Crawford/Egis, and I really don't care about MMA at all.

Egis has legit power in either hand and his hands aren't slow either. I'm just not convinced that he can take it as well as he can dish it out, and even though I had him edging Robinson, he shouldn't have struggled as much as he did against him.

Big Mac, who has done commentary for a number of Egis' fights, had him losing both the Robinson and Abreu fights. Crawford won't be happy about that because he gets very sensitive about the criticisms of his opposition and he's subsequently been trying to talk him up lol

People are stupidly writing off Kavaliauskas after just ONE off night in his last fight against who is a very awkward guy to look good against ( ask Josh Kelly too), Robinson is a decent awkward fighter who makes people look bad.

Look what Kavaliauskas did to David Avanesyan ! He ****ing destroyed him! And Avanesyan is a very solid granite chinned top 10 world class welterweight. If the Avanesysn fight had been Egis' last fight people would be thinking very differently right now! That is an excellent win.

Kavaliauskas was a top amateur ( far better than Crawford) -World championship bronze medalist and 2 time Olympian.. Hes tough,he has speed, he has a strong work ethic... more importantly hes a BIG puncher and good finisher -- when he gets people hurt he gets them out of there! If he catches Crawford it could well be game over!

Kavaliauaskas is a good fighter who has a chance here, he could win this fight.

At the very least I am almost certain he will do better than people are thinking and the odds are suggesting.

Its because he has way too many consonants in his name. Imagine if he was a baseball or football player; they couldn't even properly abbreviate it to fit on his uniform. You can't like a man with that name. And I like Lithuania...went there once. Nice looking women, very tall.
