It was a temple shot on an area where Brook has had surgery. I suspect it temporarily caused Brook to panic and go defensive and Crawford jumped on him.

I mean i knew he hadn't got better as such but as a big Brook fan over the years for his skillset ,I'm admittedly a bit sad to see it

That's the thing, he's spent a while now not fighting the best at 147 so it will take multiple fights to undo that reputation (except a really good Spence win, then he could prove that there was never a point in the others).

He could have a decent reach advantage up to MW too so the pool of opponents is not just the PBC WWs.

I suspect that he likes making millions fighting second tier opponents at a comfortable weight more than appeasing the internet warriors of the world though so I'm not holding my breath.

 

The desperation to discredit Crawford is actually hilarious.

 

Exemplary performance by Crawford, but he needs Spence badly in 2021. Brook looked very gaunt and drawn at the weigh in, hasn't had a win of significance in years and, based on this fight, might just be getting a little tender in his whiskers these days.

But I could watch Crawford box all day. Such a complete and poised fighter.

 

Spence, assuming he's still what he was before the accident, is still the biggest threat to Crawford. It's shouldn't be held against him that Spence is a jackass for drunk driving.

 

Especially when these same people were backing Brook before the fight, talked about how great he looked and how well he was doing. Then when it’s over it’s all too predictable backtracking. Like clockwork really.

 

Then tell your boy to Spence to make the bleeping fight. As bad as you think Crawford is it should be an easy fight for Spence.

 

How do you know he struggled to make the weight? Has it been said that he struggled? I don’t think it has. Can you validate this in some way?

 

That's fair comment, it was well timed, I just think the way he reacted to it was alarming, he is asking his corner what happened.

Good shot, good finish but it really looked like Brook was a shell in terms of resistance.
