Crawford shifted into the next gear while Benavides stuck to first.

3-0 Bud. He's starting to take over. What is Jose trying to do when he drops his hands? His arms are too long to effectively counter in that position.

3-0. Crawford. Benevidez stance makes me think his knee isn't doing well.

    Round 3

Crawford is jabbing up top with the right, continuing to stick with southpaw, then burying lefts down low, some underhanded and others straight, and punctuating each combo with a HARD right hook on the other side. Benavidez at first smirks and shakes "no" to mock Crawford's inability to phase him, but is soon backed up as Crawford repeats the combination over and over. Benavidez is favoring his injured right knee, shuffling to regain positioning as Crawford melts into a slinky lateral stalking crouch and floats right jabs to set up his vicious chiseling body combos. Benavidez doing little now but jabbing at the face, overreaching and missing.

    10-9 Crawford

    30-27 Crawford

    2 - 1 JB

Nice rnd 3 for Bud. Not anything damaging but he did put a few combos together.

JB is fighting dumb. He needs to let his hands go. Getting hit and then shaking your head is just stupid.

    R1 10-9 Crawford
    R2 10-9 Crawford
    R3 10-9 Crawford

Clearest round for Crawford yet. Not an issue if Crawford can outbox this dude but put together for a stoppage. Speed advantage is like night and day and that's a problem for Benevidez.
