My card for during the fight went like this:-
1 - Porter
2 - Crawford
3 - Porter
4 - Porter
5 - Porter
6 - Crawford (close)
7 - Porter (close)
8 - Crawford
9 - Crawford

So I had Porter a round up going into the 10th - Bud caught Porter with a great bodyshot in the 8th, and I think that's why it looked like Shawn was taking a bit of a round off in the 9th - but Bud also stepped it up in the 9th too - I heard Bo Mac in between 8th and 9th sayin summat about 'raise the intensity, go through the gears' and Bud responded in kind.

Great engrossing fight, I think Bud's body work really started to pay dividends for him from the start of the 9th.

Best of luck to both fighters now that Shawn has retired, and Bud has free'd himself from Bob's clutches.

I don't wanna sound like a conspiracy theorist, but given the weird explanation by his father for pulling him out, and Shawn Porter himself not looking too upset by the fight being stopped - is there any chance that Porter's tantrum, hitting the floor with his fists, and walking away from the referee, was a signal to his father to please stop the fight?

Now everyone thinks his father is an idiot, instead of Shawn being a quitter.

 

Not weird for ESB. People love to pick an underdog and then cry robbery so they score accordingly.
