I like Porter a lot I hope he gets a fair shake.

I feel bad for Volny, though I wish he wouldn't have elected to take a look in the first round and let Falcao win it so handily. Patrice still deserved the win, imo, but he might have been able to secure at least a draw on the cards with a more proactive approach from the start.

The big one, I'm going with Porter, had a gut feeling about this for a while and I think he has a solid chance of pulling off an upset.

 

It's good that this boring fight ended before the final round. I don't have to wait too long to see the main event.

My sense from Porter is that he's trying to talk himself into believing he can win, but by the 5th or 6th round it will be apparent he is not, at which point he will go through the motions a bit and get stopped in 9 to 10.

 

I have nothing against Bud, but been following The Porter Way podcast now for a while and just really like Shawn, so hope you are right!
