Don’t they usually? People see what they want to see…hell one guy scored a round a “draw” as to avoid giving Crawford his round. It’s bizarre man…Porter did well, Crawford did better, it’s as simple as that. The better fighter won.

They were going to rob Shawn just like they nearly got away with murder on Josh Taylor vs Jose Ramirez.

 

I think one has to give both fighters credit here

Did Crawford flatter to deived up until the 9th round? Yes to an extent, but IMO that's because Porter was fighting much more disciplined than normal, and catching Bud with some good sneaky shots, and making him work hard for everything.

Did Bud switch through the gears from round 9 and force Porter to make more mistakes and then capitalise on them, or did Shawn's discipline fade a bit and he reverted more to the mauling, reckless style we have seen in the past?

I think it's a bit of both, but you have to give props to how Bud maximizes making you pay for any mistakes.

 

To be fair he said that yesterday in a fighthype interview. He saod he dodnt get the sparring he wanted.

 

10-7 in the 10th and it was only getting worse from there, plus Top Rank judges. Even if Porter was 5-4 up (even 6-3 at a real stretch) to that point, the fight was over. Crawford had a lot of problems though, didn't really distinguish himself from prime Brook or Spence as much as the odds or his reputation suggested he would. And Porter is a shorter, much stubbier man with far less power and a lot more wear and tear.

Porter wasn't connecting enough. He took the early rounds when Crawford didn't throw enough.
I had it 5-4 Crawford.

 

A punch on the shoulder when hes hurt and halfay down is not a push...

 

Basically admitted his decision to stop the fight had nothing to do with what was going on in the ring while calling Shawn’s character into question. The balls on this *****. Unreal.
